Python® Compac 35 Non-Rotating hoisting rope installed on Favelle Favco Cranes on top of the World Trade Center, finished height of 1776ft with 104 stories, tallest building in the USA. Python® Compac 35 Non-Rotating hoisting rope installed on Favelle Favco Cranes on top of Shanghai Tower, finished height of 2073ft with 121 stories, tallest building in Shanghai, China.
     
Python® Compac 35 wire rope was used to construct the Burj Khalifa. At 2,722 ft is the tallest man-made structure in the world. Construction began on 21 September 2004, with the exterior of the structure completed on 1 October 2009. The building officially opened on 4 January 2010 and was designed and engineered by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill of Chicago. The Taipei 101 ranked officially as the world's tallest structure from 2004 until the opening of the Burj Khalifa in Dubai in 2010. It was constructed using our High Performance Python® Compac 35 non-rotating tower crane wire rope. The Taipei 101 comprises 101 floors above ground and 5 floors underground and is designed to withstand typhoons and earthquakes.
